The question I have is about the blanket cut of Medicaid. I’ve asked Mr. Paladino three times but got no answer.
I had a brain injury and need the Traumatic Brain Injury waiver program to live. Without it I would have my house confiscated by the government and be forced into an overcrowded nursing home. Ironically, this would cost even more per year than the TBI.
I pay my property and school taxes like you do. I’m on SS, which isn’t welfare since I paid in my whole life.
I worked all my life until the accident. I paid my total savings in cash for the house. When you endorse these slash-and-burn policies, think for a moment about what would happen to you if you were in my position.
